On Tuesday, Sony announced that it will unveil new and exciting games for PlayStation consoles at the Paris Games Week, which will be held in France. It can be recalled that the company skipped this year's Gamescom. It was said that the company will announce "exciting updates" for both existing and new titles in the upcoming event, a report from Gamespot said.
"On Tuesday, October 27th at 10:00 AM Pacific we'll be drawing back the curtains on the inaugural Paris Games Week PlayStation Press Conference. In front of the gathered media at the iconic La Grande Arche de la Défense, we'll be announcing new games and offering some exciting updates on previously announced titles," Sony said via the PlayStation Blog.
"Please note, much like E3 is targeted to the US audience and Tokyo Game Show is targeted at Japan, Paris Games Week is primarily aimed at European gamers - keep that in mind as you watch. Not everything mentioned or shown in the presentation will necessarily apply to gamers in the United States," the company explained.
"Paris Games Week seems to be taking the industry by surprise, with very little talk or rumors floating around to let us hint at what will be there. Sony provided no further hints either, so what these games could include is beyond us at the moment," Cinelinx said.
Sony said that aside from the press briefing, players can also visit the massive PlayStation booth it prepared for its avid fans. The company said that fans can check the different selections of upcoming titles which include "Call of Duty: Black Ops III," "Star Wars Battlefront," and "Ratchet & Clank."
"No further details were shared. Unlike E3 or Gamescom, the rumor mill has been relatively quiet for the Paris Games Week. LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule will talk more about its new PlayStation 4 game, Dreams, while Resogun developer Housemarque has something lined up. What you won't see, however, is a Beyonce-style stealth release of No Man's Sky, developer Hello Games has confirmed," Gamespot said.
