Celebrity Real Estate: Dr. Mehmet Oz of the Daily Chat Show “Dr. Oz” is Asking a $90K Rent per Month for Palm Beach Estate

Dr. Mehmet Oz is asking a $90,000 rent per month for his fabled Palm Beach estate. The 10,546 square feet mansion has 12 bedrooms, 12 full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Built in 1923, the property features an ocean-front spread, known as "Louwana", and sits on more than 1.5 acres with about 150 feet of beach frontage.

High society architect Addison Mizner, a well-known amongst old school Palm Beach aristocrats, designed the three-floor property. It measures today's nouveau rich mega-mansion standards in a vast space, according to current rental listings. Based from the record, the property was previously listed at 11,074-square-feet with 12 bedrooms and 12 full and three half bathrooms, and whichever figures are correct, it's safe to say that the property has plenty of rooms for two or three families in one house.

According to Variety, the mansion is fully furnished with a comparison between the former listing images and current listing photographs, which suggest that the doctor acquired the property with a fair amount of musty-fusty looking furnishings.

The main living space of the mansion is spacious and includes a 36-foot long living room with exposed wood ceiling and massive antique fireplace, a 32-foot long dining room with original terra-cotta tile floors, and a den/sunroom beautifully designed with a strict palate of Delft blue and white.

The walled landscaped courtyard at the front of the mansion has a swimming pool and cabana, two motor courts, a tennis court, a detached garage for two, and a beach-side cabana with living room, bedroom, and a couple of bathrooms/changing rooms.

According to Buzz CNN, Dr. Mehmet Oz is a five-time Emmy winner for his popular daylight chat show. Dr. Oz and his wife, Lisa, own a multi-parcel bluff-top estate in Cliffside, NJ. The 9,153-square-foot estate is a Mediterranean-style primary residence that includes a 4,122 square foot guesthouse next to the swimming pool as well as picturesque perspectives that sweep over the New York skyline and the Hudson River.
