Die-hard fans of soon-to-be-released "Street Fighter 5" can play the game with a new controller. This is after Mad Catz revealed a new arcade FightStick called "Chun-Li" exclusively for the game, a report from Gamespot said on Tuesday.
"Working together with our long time friends at Capcom, we are once again paying tribute to the eternal 'spring beauty' and strongest woman in the world, Chun-Li! This retro 'Chun-Li' edition FightStick features everything you've come to know and love of the original TE2 FightStick, with some key improvements! We've improved the artwork and to clear panel application to be sturdier without sacrificing the aesthetic/modding appeal," Mad Catz said in a statement.
"The retro nod and throwback to the 2010 Chun-Li TE-S FightStick include a translucent blue casing (first time on a TE2 FightStick) and familiar white/yellow highlights for the Tournament Edition 2 product. Also similar to the original Chun-Li TE-S, the new SFV model includes another 3D lenticular artwork motion graphic that helps bring Chun-Li and her surroundings to life as this weapon assists you in quickly kicking (pun intended) the crap out of your opponents," the company said, describing the game's new controller.
According to Gamespot, Mad Catz's "Chun- Li" Tournament Edition 2 FightStick is now available for pre-orders. The company said that interested buyers from U.S. will be given a bonus, which is a free FightStick TE2 Shoulder Strap. The strap which is regularly sold for $19.99 will only be given to those buyers who pre-ordered the controller.
Priced at $230, the game's new controller is compatible with PS4 and PS3 consoles. The controller is expected to be shipped ahead of "Street Fighter 5" release date within the 2015 holidays.
