Fallout Shelter Version 1.2.1 A Spooky Halloween Update; Plus, Fallout 4 Xbox One Controls Revealed

Bethesda's recent update to the "Fallout Shelter," version 1.2.1, gives the game a spooky look with the Halloween theme.

According to Digital Trends, the cafeteria now has witch's kitchen complete with "a jack-o-lantern witch, coffin, broom, orange lamps, potions, bats, cupcakes, and bags full of trick-or-treats." The barracks have been upgraded to orange bed sheets and jack-o-lantern lamps, and Vault suits have replaced with ghost costumes. There's a coffin and a skeleton on the corner, plus bats and cobwebs on the ceiling. Dwellers would probably be unable to sleep through the night here.

Some players, said Digital Trends, have also shared that they received five lunch boxes, some of which contain Halloween costumes such as elf and pilgrim.

Aside from the exciting Halloween features, the game description on iTunes indicates that new Vault-Tec protocols are in place and the Vault can be saved to the cloud now. Dwellers can also scavenge equipment from dead Raiders. Also, a survival mode is introduced with more dangers.

Digital Trends also said that the explorer limit cap has been removed and so the player can send as many explorers to the Wastelands. There's also fewer Deathclaw attacks.

Meanwhile, iDigitalTimes reported that the control schemes to "Fallout 4" for Xbox One have been revealed in an update to the Xbox Smartglass App. The controllers are as follow:
