iOS 9 Jailbreak Update: Cydia Tweaks Invade iOS Devices; 3D Touch Quick Actions, Hey Siri, Spotlight be Gone Irresistible

The iOS 9 jailbreak ignited the release of tons of awesome iOS Cydia tweaks that are already downloadable.

A few Cydia tweaks provide shortcut access to numerous apps, Phone Rebel reported. For instance, the 3D Touch capabilities of iPhone 6s and older versions of iPhones usually allow users to avail of quick action taps on a few apps from a home screen. But a new Cydia tweak can do more than this.

Through the tweak shortcuts, those apps without 3D Touch Quick Actions will be equipped with the feature. This is an even better shortcut than some apps with existing 3D touch quick actions. Shortcut tweaks also offer quick access to Spotify, Gotta Be Mobile reported.

Untethered Hey Siri is also a result of several Cydia tweaks. Hey Siri is a mobile feature that allows users to talk to Siri while their iPhones are plugged in. They only need to say "Hey Siri" before telling the command, in an entirely hands-free mode. The feature works in iPhone 6s whether it is plugged in or not. Previously, older iPhone versions must be plugged in so it can accept Siri assisted commands. With the existence of a Cydia tweak like the Untethered Hey Siri, Hey Siri can now be used both ways in mobile devices. Aside from that, it can run in iOS 8 and iOS 9.

Another Cydia tweak output is the Spotlight Be Gone. The Spotlight Search on iPhone OS has been helpful for a long time, but for some who would rather not have it because they don't often use it, the jailbreak tweak is a great solution for this. Simply put, Spotlight Be Gone can do the easy way of getting rid of it, completely. Since a lot of iOS users are enjoying the Spotlight Search, it seems that this tweak may not appeal to everyone.

If iOS users have plans of using the tweaks, it would be best to get to know the apps better in order to know which ones to disable and which ones to activate.
