Dennis Quaid Selling Palisades Home He Purchased for Kimberley and Kids

The "Frequency" actor Dennis Quaid is selling the Pacific Palisades home he purchased for his soon to be ex-wife, Kimberly Buffington and their twin children. Quaid bought the home in February for around $3.1 million. However, the actor has now listed the place for the same price.

Quaid purchased the home from CNS president of distribution, John Nogawski. The deed of the house states both Quaid and Kimberley as the owners of the home. The home is located in an affluent celeb studded neighborhood with residents including Steven Spielberg, Bill Cosby and Tom Hanks.

The residence is a four bedroom, four bathroom place spanning an area of 3421 square feet. The elegant modern home has plush interiors fitted with state-of-the-art fixtures and offers lovely views of Southern California.

The listing of the residence describes the home as:

Offering An Open Floor Plan With An Exceptional Indoor/Outdoor Flow. The Gourmet Kitchen Features A Large Center Island And Opens To A Sparkling Salt Water Pool/Spa And Patio. The Palisades home might be a part of the divorce deal Quaid and Kimberly are moving forward with. Kimberly filed for divorce in September 2012 for the second time claiming that her husband was cheating on her. She also demanded attorney's fees and spousal support.

According to the divorce decree, Kimberley and the two kids could exclusively occupy the Palisades house until the children turn 18. However, the settlement allowed Kimberly to conditionally stay even longer. But now that the home is listed, they will have to find another place.

However, recent reports state that the two have been getting along perfectly and looking more like a family than ever. But, the divorce is almost in its final stage and is awaiting a final judgment. Stopping the separation is not possible now. It is unclear if the two will remarry, reports TMZ.

However, this is not the first divorce for Quaid. He first married actress P.J Soles whom he met on the sets of "Our Winning Season". They divorced in 1983. He was also engaged to Lea Thompson of the "Jaws 3D" fame, which they called off in three years.

He later married Meg Ryan on Valentine's Day in 1991 and separated in 2000 amid rumors of Ryan's steamy affair with actor Russell Crowe.

Regardless of his erratic personal life, Quaid has made a niche for himself. He is perhaps best known for his movies like "Legion", "Soul Surfer", "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Dragon Heart". He has won two golden globe awards and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.
