Kate Middleton and Prince William Attend Royal Screening of Bond Film 'Spectre'

It was royal movie night for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

According to Mirror, Kate Middleton and Prince William stunned everyone as they walked the red carpet for the world premiere of the latest "Bond" film "Spectre". Joining the royal couple was the actor Daniel Craig himself and his co-stars. Prince Harry reportedly attended the screening at the Royal Albert Hall, in west London.

Among those that came to the spectacular were regular Bond actors like Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw. The "Bond" newcomers Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista and Bond girls Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci together with Director Sam Mendes and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli were also at the red carpet event.

According to Mail Online, Spectre is the 24th installment of the James Bond Series but the third to have been chosen for Royal Film Performance since its inception in 1946. The other two were Die Another Day (2002) and Skyfall (2012)

The arrival of the royal couple was a showstopper. Prince William arrived wearing a black tuxedo while Kate was dazzling in a blue Jenny Packham evening gown with sparkly belt and Jimmy Choo shoes. The royal couple stopped to chat with director Sam Mendes and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson for a few minutes after they arrived.

But the first star to have arrived at the red carpet event was none other than Spectre's main attraction, Daniel Craig. The 47-year-old actor reportedly told host Rick Edwards, "It's just fantastic to see everybody out tonight. I'm not overwhelmed, I'm very excited and I can't wait for people to see the movie." Craig admitted during the same night that he actually hated watching his own films though he enjoyed playing as James Bond. Later he told Press Association, "I'm very proud of it and I hope people will enjoy it."
