Unlikely alliances will be formed as intense action continues in the new episode of "Homeland" Season 5. After being attacked by an unknown shooter, Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) and Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) will be working together to figure out a dead man's identity, and as expected, this will be a very dangerous task for the duo.
According to International Business Times, the promo video for "Homeland" Season 5 episode 5 reveals that out of desperation, Carrie will ask for help from an unlikely source. In the video, Carrie can be seen talking to Peter's former girlfriend Astrid (Nina Hoss).
The preview shows Carrie begging for Astrid's help, saying, "I need your help. I'm literally putting my life in your hands." It was reported that Astrid will agree to help Carrie and Quinn and lend her expertise to help them identify the dead man.
Aside from looking for answers, Peter is still in danger as his gunshot wound has been infected. Peter then asks Carrie if she can go to an emergency room down the street to get some medical tools so that they could fix his wound.
As for Carrie, pictures for "Homeland" Season 5 episode 5 reveal her dangerous reunion with her former ally, Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin). In episode 4, Saul ordered Peter to kill Carrie, but in the sneak peek photos, Saul seems to be harmless around Carrie.
Melty reports that the rest of the episode will deal with the shocking death of General Youssef (Igal Naor). Saul will be working to assess the damage of the situation. In another video, Saul can be seen asking for the cooperation of Etal Luskin (Allan Corduner); however, he does not want to help the team look for answers. It was speculated that a mole is inside the department and they have to find out who it is.
"Homeland" Season 5 airs every Sunday on Showtime.
