Everyone's favorite "007" secret agent is back on the big screen, which only means it is James Bond season once again.
Spectre, Daniel Craig's latest Bond movie, had its world premiere Monday, held at the Royal Albert Hall London. The man of the hour looked immaculate and downright debonair, as expected.
While his fans are looking forward to his most recent film, the rest of the world is wondering and speculating who will take Craig's place when he hangs up his hat as James Bond.
Independent listed the following possible replacement of the much-coveted title, though other reports say that Craig does not care who replaces him, really.
Idris Elba
The incumbent Bond is the first blond to play the role, as listed in his bio from IMDb, and fans would be excited if Elba would take the reign next, although he does not want to be known as the black James Bond, for obvious reasons. It would certainly be refreshing though.
Tom Hardy
Looks, grit, confidence. Tom Hardy would be a good fit and his fans agree with him. His success with "Mad Max: Fury Road," is just one reason why he would do well as Bond.
Henry Cavil
"Man of Steel" turned James Bond, who would not fancy that? Martin Campbell, director of Casino Royale, eyed Cavil for the role as early as 2005. However, he was deemed too young then, hence the role went to Craig instead. It was a good thing though because as everyone witnessed, the latter did not disappoint either.
Tom Hiddleston
He stated that he'd want to bring a certain British charm to the part when asked about being Bond. He would also be a good choice and he can certainly deliver as shown in his role in the Thor movies.
Jason Statham
He is excited and definitely enthusiastic about the idea. What is more promising is the fact that he prefers to do his own stunts, which means he would definitely bring in more excitement to the character should he be chosen.
Aside from the five contenders mentioned, other names cropped up like Michael Fassbender, Colin Firth, and Hugh Grant. We are yet to see who would fill the giant shoes to be left by Craig but at the moment, the favorite is Elba.
