George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are always haunted by breakup rumors even before they tied the knot. New reports claim that the A-list couple is on the verge of splitting if Clooney will not give up his "bachelor properties."
Amal reportedly wanted to have a fresh start in their marriage and part of it is for her husband to sell his properties that remind her of his past romances. According to Movie News Guide, George and Amal were fighting even before they tied the knot, and now it has escalated to something else that could lead to their messy divorce.
"Amal doesn't want to be surrounded by reminders of his previous conquests, so she requested he put his four properties around the world - a villa in Italy, a beach house in Mexico, an apartment in New York City and a house in L.A.'s popular Fryman Canyon - up for sale," a source told OK! Magazine. "Those houses hold a lot of happy memories for George, but she hates the thought of sleeping in the same rooms as his former lovers."
George and Amal may still be working hard to save their marriage as reports claim that he has already listed those properties in the market, Inquisitr reports. It seems that although he holds a lot of memories in those mansions, he has no choice but to get rid of them to save his marriage with Amal. Another source said that he won't argue with her because she's a lawyer and she always wins.
Meanwhile, amidst George and Amal's divorce rumors, the two were spotted in an intimate dinner at the London's Notting Hill neighborhood in early October. Their sighting comes on the heels of their first wedding anniversary as a couple.
