Paul Walker in one of the top-earning dead celebrity list; his final ride

Paul Walker has been dead for almost two years now and yet his name is still making headlines. It can be recalled that he died in a fatal accident while filming "Fast and Furious 7."

As reported by BBC, his name has been added in Forbes' top-earning dead celebrity list alongside Michael Jackson: $115m (£75m), Elvis Presley: $55m (£35.8m), Charles Schulz: $40m (£26m), Bob Marley: $21m (£13.7m), and Elizabeth Taylor: $20m (£13m). At number five, Taylor is the highest-ranking British born entry. John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and some other well known personalities, including Albert Einstein, were also part of the list.

In related news, the car he was driving when he met the accident, Porsche Carrera GT, a superfast supercar, is being alleged as the main cause of the accident by his daughter Meadow, for containing defects and lack of proper safety features, hence she filed a complaint of wrongful death.

Walker was not the only one who encountered an accident with the GT, as Jay Leno, also allegedly experienced difficulty in handling the same.

According to People, IndyCar star Graham Rahal stated, after Walker's death, that CGT is not a car for drivers without experience in handling high end vehicles or any race cars. The report also mentioned that part of the complaint were allegations about lack of electronic stability control, contributing to the cause of the accident.

The result of the complaint is yet to be known.

Walker, despite his untimely demise, remains one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood and the world over. Like all endings, his was sadly expected but surely, he reached his destination a satisfied man, albeit his life was short-lived. Nonetheless, his memory and legacy will live on forever, although everyone is wishing that he had not taken his final ride too fast, too soon and too quick.
