Former Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter will soon become a father as wife Lauren Kitt is reportedly pregnant with their first baby.
The "Dancing with the Stars" Season 21 contestant will soon be doing daddy duties since his wife has now a baby on the way. A source told Us Weekly that Kitt is already four months pregnant and the couple is more than thrilled. The source added that the two are overjoyed and happy since they have been trying to have a baby for years.
Carter, 35, and Kitt, 32, got engaged in February 2013 and married in April 2014 at Santa Barbara's Bacara Resort and Spa. In attendance were Carter's former Backstreet Boys bandmates Howie Dorough, AJ McLean and Brian Littrell. A guest of the ceremony retold how the wedding went down, mentioning how the couple shared the longest kiss. "They seem crazy in love and thrilled to be married. You could feel the love bursting out of them," the source said.
A few months after tying the knot, Carter said in an interview with Yahoo that he knew Kitt was the one for him the first time they met. The connection was undeniable and Carter said he just wanted to be around her. Kitt agreed and said it was the key to their relationship.
"You have to find someone that you love and that loves you just as much," Carter's wife said. "We can spend 24/7 with one another," she added, noting that she could not even be with her sister or friends for that long.
Carter and Kitt allowed their romance to be recorded for the reality show "I Heart Nick Carter," which was aired on VH1. On the show, Nick was given some relationship advice by Jordan Knight, a member of the boyband "New Kids on the Block." At the time the two boyband members were touring together.
Currently, the former Backstreet Boys member can be seen performing in "Dancing with the Stars" Season 21 on ABC. He is partnered with professional dancer Sharna Burgess.
