The filming for "Baby Daddy" Season 5 was moved to a later date after cast member Jean-Luc Bilodeau injured himself while wearing his Halloween costume.
According to Variety, the Canadian actor's Halloween costume caught fire, and he was badly burned on his arm and legs area. At the time of the accident, the actor was with his "Baby Daddy" co-star Tahj Mowry.
Bilodeau's rep released a statement updating fans on the condition of his client.
"'Baby Daddy' star Jean-Luc Bilodeau was in an accident Saturday night as this co-star Tahj Mowry's home for a Halloween party. At the party, Jean-Luc's costume caught on fire when he got too close to an open flame and he suffered burns to his legs and arms. From what we understand, it was no one's fault and this was merely a freak accident," the statement read.
"Per his doctor, he is expected to make a full recovery. While this accident is extremely unfortunate, it serves as a reminder that Halloween costumes and Halloween make-up can be extremely dangerous and flammable. Please exercise precautions this season and be mindful of what you are putting on your body and face," the statement continued.
As of late, it is still unclear whether or not the 2016 premiere date of "Baby Daddy" Season 5 will also be moved to a later date.
According to People Magazine, Bilodeau is still confined at a hospital at the moment. The 24-year-old funnyman has been receiving kind wishes and visits from his family and "Baby Daddy" co-stars.
On "Baby Daddy," the actor plays the role of Ben Wheeler, the brother of Danny (Derek Theler), and the son of Bonnie (Melissa Peterman). Ben has always been in love with his best friend and classmate Riley, played by actress Chelsea Kane.
In Season 4, Ben set his feelings for Riley aside so she could be with Danny for good.
