Controversial Adam Sandler's Netflix Film 'Ridiculous 6' Finally Has A Trailer

"The Ridiculous 6," a comedy film starring Adam Sandler, which revolves around a satire of westerns and the 1960 western, "The Magnificent Seven" finally has a trailer clip.

According to Polygon, the controversial film casts A-list comedians and actors including Adam Sandler (Grown Ups 2), Steve Buscemi (Con Air), Taylor Lautner (Twilight) and Terry Crews (Brides Maids) among others. The story will follow the journey of six cowboys across the Old West. It is said that there's a four-movie deal with Netflix but the first film immediately came under fire after three Native American actors walked out of the set feeling culturally offended by the jokes adapted from the "drunk Indian" stereotypes.

Sandler was then accused of making racist jokes against the Indians, according to Variety. So back in July, Sandler addressed the issue during the premiere of his new movie, "Pixels." He told the Associated Press, "It was just a misunderstanding and once the movie is out will be cleared up."

He reportedly also told ScreenCrush, "I talked to some of the actors on the set who were there and let them know that the intention of the movie is 100% to just make a funny movie. It's really about American Indians being good to my character and about their family and just being good people. There's no mocking of American Indians at all in the movie. It's a pro-Indian movie. So hopefully when people see it - whoever was offended on set and walked out, I hope they realize that, and that's it. It was kinda taken out of context."

Despite the actor's attempt to tone down the racist issues, it has been reported that there is still tension on the set among actors. Nevertheless, "The Ridiculous 6" will be available to stream on Dec. 11 and by then fans can see and judge for themselves if there is indeed an issue of racism in the film. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer below.
