Shirley Temple was perhaps the most popular child actors of her time. Scaling heights of her career with movies like "Bright Eyes", "Heidi" and "The Little Princess", she was the face of the quintessential "sweet little girl".
Though she was last seen gracing the screen years back, people's fondness for the actress has not withered away, which is why, like any other popular celebrity memorabilia, the 'Miracle Girl's' (President Roosevelt gave her that moniker) childhood home in Santa Monica sold just within two weeks of listing. What's more? It sold for the exact price it was listed for!-$2.5 million.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the residence was built in 1926, just two years before Temple's birth. The Spanish style bungalow is a 1966 square feet home comprising of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Realtor.com describes the residence as:
Clearly the recipient of an artisan's touch, inside features include beautifully refinished hardwood floors, bathrooms with decorative tile work and arched hallways with exposed beams. Outside, the idyllic setting is amplified by a sun-drenched garden with apricot, apple and plum trees, rolling lawns and other mature foliage.

She currently lives in a comfortable 4000 square feet residence in Woodside, California.
The actress moved on to play fewer dynamic roles in her adulthood. As her acting career petered out, she decided to take up a public service career and went on to become a U.S. diplomat in the U.N.
