Drew Barrymore, the bubbly "Charlie's Angels" star has given her home in Montecito a $600,000 pricechopper. It is now asking $6.9 million, according to several media reports.
Barrymore reportedly listed the home where she married art consultant William Kopelman sometime back in May 2013, with a price tag of $7.5 million. It has been sitting unclaimed for the past few months, which might have led to the price chop.
Despite the cost chop, she will still earn a reasonable profit if she manages it for the current asking price. Barrymore purchased the home for $5.7 million in June 2010, just before she met Kopelman, reports the Trulia blog.
According to the listing records, the residence is a 6258 square feet, double story single-family residence. The home comprises of six bedrooms and seven full and one half bathroom. Built in 1937, the home sits on a private two acre land. Interiors of the home boast hardwood flooring and French doors and windows.
Living spaces include a living room, a formal dining room, a children's play room/nursery (where Olive, their daughter, played) and a family room. The kitchen gives a retro vibe with a large mid-rise island. However, it is fitted with modern appliances.
Outside, the home has large open sitting areas and stretching greens. A separate guest house and ample parking space is also available on the estate.
The listing describes the home as:
Gorgeous 1937 traditional home on approx. 2 acres of secluded, lush grounds. Located between the Upper and Lower Villages and in the Montecito Union School District, this classic two story estate features 6 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, separate guest apt and ample parking. A walking path winds through the abundant gardens, citrus and avocado trees and expansive lawn to create a one of a kind setting.

The couple welcomed their baby daughter, Olive, in this home. They may move to their South Californian home, which she purchased in 2002. Barrymore will probably welcome her next two kids in that home.
Recently, in an interview with InStyle magazine (she also posed for the cover of the publication's August issue), she said:
"I was an only child, and it was lonely. Some people love it and thrive on the independence, but I want my kids to have other kids around. Maybe two kids so they can run around life together, roll their eyes at their parents together like Rusty and Audrey Griswold from "[National Lampoon's] Vacation." So however that's going to come about, it's gonna happen!"
She also added:
"I love the person who said, 'Parenting is like wearing your heart on the outside of your body.' It's the most beautiful, perfect analogy."
Talking about hearts, the actress has also launched her photography book in partnership with Little, Brown and Company. The book titled "Find It in Everything" displays pictures of hearts and things that look like hearts - all taken by the actress herself.
"I have always loved hearts. The way that one continuous line accomplishes the most extraordinary thing - it conveys love," she said in a statement.
