The Vampire Diaries’ Paul Wesley and Torrey DiVitto Sell Los Angeles Home for $1.7 Million

Paul Wesley, best known as "Stefan Salvatore", one of the Salvatore brothers in the popular horror-drama series 'The Vampire Diaries,' and wife Torrey DiVitto are bracing up for an 'amicable divorce' and the not-so-in-love duo have already sold their Los Angeles home for $1.7 million.

The couple purchased it back in December 2011, just after they got hitched earlier in April that year, for around $980,000. They listed the residence for $1.6 million sometime back in August, just a few days after they filed for divorce. They were probably looking to sell as a part of the divorce deal.

However, no news about how the proceeds from the sale will be split is known yet.

Listing records of the home state that the residence is a 3262 square feet, three bedroom, three bathroom single family residence. The lovely two-story home has dark hardwood floors, large French doors and windows, high ceilings and spacious, airy rooms. The home is a private, gated property with ample recreation and outdoor areas lined with a beautiful garden and fountains.

Wesley and DiVitto have decided to call it quits just after two years of marriage. Why have they split? No official word on the reasons but one of the causes might be that the two were living "2000 miles apart". According to Yourtango.com, Wesley was living full time in Atlanta to shoot for TVD while DiVitto lived in Sunny, Los Angeles.

A lot of other speculations have also been doing the rounds, most of which revolve around the lines of "no time for each other." The announcement of their split came amid news of co-stars, Nina Dobrev (Elena/Catherine) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) breaking up after dating for three years.
