Brent Callinicos, former chief financial officer of Uber, has put his Atherton mansion on sale. The 1996 Mediterranean-style property carries a price tag of just below $10 million.
The Atherton mansion rests on a 7,600-square-foot property and features five bedrooms, an open kitchen, a theater room, and a gym. The outdoor facilities comprised a pool, a four-car garage, and a large backyard. Realtor.com gives the house a five-star rating, citing its "private oasis" atmosphere as its most positive attribute. The site also describes Atherton as a very peaceful place, ideal for "ultrarich residents."
The decision to sell the Atherton, California home came when Callinicos elected to leave the corporate life after nearly three decades and shift his attention to his loved ones. Callinicos, who once served as an executive for Google, announced the end of his career earlier this year.

"It is time to do what I have desired for a very long time; time to keep a promise to my wife of not missing another school play, swim meet, or academic achievement of our daughter's childhood," he wrote.
Joining Uber in 2013, Callinicos helped steer the taxi-hailing firm to become of the the most popular mobile apps and propelled the high-speed growth of the company during his two-year tenure. As Uber's CFO, Callinicos helped the the firm raise $5 billion equity capital, more than any other private, venture-backed company in history, according to the Wall Street Journal.
According to EquilarAtlas, Callinicos' annual salary was $60,000.
Prior to his stint with Uber, Callinicos was once treasurer and chief accountant for Google.
