Successful, popular, influential, and empowering women-that is Taylor Swift nowadays. Despite her success in her career and her smooth sailing ride with her current squeeze, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, the award-winning singer has had her broken several times, just like the rest of humanity.
In an interview with Mirror, Swift said, in reference to her past relationship with Harry Styles, "The number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety. Because it felt very fragile, it felt very tentative. And it always felt like, 'Okay, what's the next road block?
"What's the next thing that's gonna deter this? How long do we have before this turns into just an awful mess and we break up? Is it a month? Is it three days?'" However, she insisted their short-lived relationship, which also inspired several other tracks on her most recent album '1989,' still meant a lot to her, the report continued.
Swift was said, "to have reflected on the relationship that inspired "Out of the Woods," and played a fantastic acoustic version of the song," Elle magazine noted.
It can be remembered that the relationship between the two ended because of trust issues and that Swift felt that Styles was looking at every girl. In a nutshell, Swift did not feel secure in the relationship and was sort of expecting it to break at anytime. It was indeed not what it seemed.
Despite her past and her being branded as "boy crazy and clingy," Swift has rise to superstardom, higher even, if it is possible, and is currently enjoying the fruit of her hard work. Over the years, she has been gathering and receiving awards after awards.
Perhaps the most significant achievement she has at this point is being a role model to her countless fans, especially young women who get inspired by her dauntless character. Don't you agree?
