Episode 4 of The Flash Season 2 showed us how Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) came face to face with the last person he ever expected to see again. Episode 5 tells us if they will both get along.
Indeed, the return of Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) was a shock, most of all because the superhero was saved from King Shark by Wells. The latter's heroic action of saving The Flash is a shock mainly because he is the man who killed Barry's mother and is responsible for his trauma.
The question is whether Barry can let go of the hatred and hatchet and trust Earth 2's Wells. Episode 5, subtitled 'The Darkness and the Light,' will have the answers for the fans.
The promotional video for the next episode shows us that Barry is more concerned with Wells, who showed up as an ally, rather than his new foe.
The synopsis for episode 5 tells us that the S.T.A.R. Labs team, together with Barry, will have another enemy to compete with as well. A meta-human called Dr. Light had slipped through the portal from Earth 2 and Barry (The Flash) will be needing some help from Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) to be able to take her down. However, during a fight with the Flash, Dr. Light blinds him and drops a news about Zoom (Tony Todd).
And for the fans who are indulged in Barry and Patty love story, the synopsis also revealed that he finally asked her on date. After being flirty with each other on two episodes, fans will be happy to finally see a development between the two characters. Do you think 'Batty' will make a good couple name? How about 'Parry'?
