Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Sell Thousand Oaks Ranch for $10.8 Million (VIDEO)

The listing status on famous talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi's Thousand Oaks Ranch in California has finally changed to "SOLD" after sporting a "Looking for Backup" sign for almost a month or more. According to several news reports, the beautiful estate has sold for $10.8 million.

DeGeneres and Rossi purchased the 26-acre ranch sometime back in 2009 for about $8.5 million. They first listed it in 2011 for $16 million but pulled it off the market after it sat unclaimed for nine months. The ranch re-appeared on the market with a $10.9 million price tag but was later given a price appreciation of $2 million. Looks like, the estate has sold for less than the listed price. However, they've made a good profit off the sale.

It has been a busy time on the real estate front for DeGeneres and Rossi. They recently purchased a home in Santa Barbara for $26.5 million. They also have multiple residences in Los Angeles and a nice ranch in Santa Monica that was featured in Elle Décor.

Just two months after listing a plush penthouse in Beverly Hills, the couple recently sold it for $843,900. DeGeneres purchased the place for $835,000, three years ago.
