Things got out of hand for Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) in episode 6 as she lashed out at Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) for inviting Penny (Samantha Sloyan), the woman who has a partial responsibility on Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) death, on her service. Episode 6 of Grey's Anatomy Season 12 is subtitled, "The Me Nobody Knows."
"It's not enough to have her here in the same building, you invited her on your service too?" Amelia angrily says to her sister. But Amelia doesn't really know that it was Bailey (Chandra Wilson) who placed Callie's (Sara Ramirez) girlfriend under Meredith's watch.
In the trailer for episode 6, the Chief of Surgery says to Meredith, "Dr. Blake is on your service."
According to IBTimes, from the scorned look on Meredith's face, it's safe to say that she's initially not too pleased to babysit the woman who let Derek's life slip through her fingers. However, Meredith will eventually understand the madness behind Bailey's method.
"I am trying to rise above and you should too," Meredith explains to Amelia why she's embracing Penny. However, Amelia is too blinded by anger to be understanding.
"You should have ended it that night," she said to Meredith in retaliation, suggesting that Meredith should have forced Penny to move to another hospital.
Moreover, episode 6 will also show the fans how Amelia will be treating the unwelcomed doctor. On the other hand, Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) inquires if the man who's head is under examination is the pastor who gave his congregation a "special blessing."
"I bet you the pews will be full on Sunday," Penny tries to joke with her fellow surgeons only to have the receive no reaction from everyone.
