Pokemon trainers can now obtain the mythical Pokemon Hoopa that cannot be caught in the normal gameplay.
This legendary Psychic/Ghost Pokemon is going to be available through the Pokemon Distribution Event in North America in retail stores. But the distribution event for Hoopa will not occur at just any retail store but in all McDonald's Restaurants!
Yes, you read it right. The mythical Pokemon Hoopa can be yours when you visit any McDonald's outlet near you. You don't even need to order anything, unless you're really starving for some Big Mac and Fries.
The McDonald's store that you will visit should be powered by a StreetPass hotspot if you want to acquire the legendary Pokemon Hoopa that is already on Level 50.
VG247 reported that the legendary Hoopa has the Magician Ability and is recognized by its two horns and the golden ring that allows the Pokemon to "bend dimensions" and move objects across a large distance.
Players who wants to grab the opportunity to have the legendary Pokemon should visit the fast food chain with their Nintendo 3DS and a copy of Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, or Pokemon Omega Ruby.
Hoopa can be 'caught' by choosing the Mystery Gift option from the menu.
Players will receive Hoopa in its Hoopa Confined Form, but if the Pokemon is transferred in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby, players can get a Prison Bottle that has the ability to transform Hoopa into its Unbound form.
According to Siliconera, the Prison Bottle can be acquired by entering a Poke Mart in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby with Hoopa in your party. There would be a brief scene that will play while the worker at Poke Mart gives the Prison Bottle. The Prison Bottle is a reusable item that can turn Hoopa to its Unbound form for three real-world days.
The distribution event will be available in North America starting on Nov. 27 to Dec. 23.
