People may have rejoiced as their favorite characters in American Horror Story: Hotel survived the night at Hotel Cortez in episode 4. However, the big question right now is, 'Can they make it through another Halloween celebration?' The party continues with episode 5, 'Room Service.'
Season 5, episode 5 synopsis, according to IBTimes, tells us that Alex (Chloë Sevigny) will be working again after taking Countess Elizabeth (Lady Gaga) up on her offer to spend eternity with her son, Holden (Lyric Lennon). However, Alex is now infected with the ancient blood virus and has the "thirst." But that doesn't mean she's going to quit her job as a pediatrician.
The promotional video for the episode shows us a paler Alex who is visiting her patient with measles in the hospital. The patient's health is continuing to worsen and his anti-vaccination mother fears the worst case scenario.
"They asked me to sign a DNR. Please tell me that we're not there yet." she tells Alex, frantic at the thought.
But Alex can barely focus on her patient because she's too busy eyeing the pulsing vein on the mother's neck.
"I'll figure it out," Alex says weakly.
Can a struggling Alex save the little boy? The synopsis adds that she'll use an "odd treatment" on him. Fingers crossed she doesn't try to experiment with her deadly new blood.
On the other hand, John (Wes Bentley), Alex's husband, is ready to break Hotel Cortez apart after his Devil's Night Soiree with James March (Evan Peters).
Sally (Sarah Paulson) tried to persuade him that he was just drunk and hallucinating, but it seems like John knows what he saw. The detective looks almost insane, demanding that his team "strip those walls down to the studs" if needed.
American Horror Story fans will also take the ride again with the episode-3 dead Iris (Kathy Bates) who's brought to life by a blood virus. Thanks to her son, Donovan (Matt Bomer). Apparently, he will be taking his mother to Ramona Royal (Angela Bassett) who warned him about being 'reckless.'
These three seems to have a plan to take down the owner of Hotel Cortez.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" episode 5 airs on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 10 p.m. EDT.
