Val Kilmer Cancer: ‘Top Gun’ Star Continue to Deny His Throat Tumor Despite His Weakening Condition

Val Kilmer's cancer news is all over the tabloids. However, for the third time in a row, he denied that he's facing a detrimental health condition.

According to reports, Kilmer's cancer rumors were again dismissed by the "Top Gun" star. He reportedly refused to undergo throat tumor treatment. The Christian scientist is more keen on meditating on his health condition rather than seeking professional medical treatments, Radar Online reports.

"Kilmer could barely speak as he was wheeled through the ICU on a gurney," an insider told the site while claiming that the star had tracheostomy tube and other machine attachment. The 55-year-old was allegedly admitted at the UCLA Medical Center late October under the name of Oscar Davis.

Kilmer's cancer was detected when he was confined in the hospital in January for coughing up blood. Contrary to his denial, his mother, Gladys Leach, claimed that the actor has throat tumor and had tracheotomy.

"Thank you all for your love and support. There's a rumor I'm unwell again and in hospital which is totally untrue. I was in to verify I have no tumor or infection of any kind which was verified by the very caring experts at UCLA," Kilmer wrote on his Facebook.

In January, Kilmer's rep, Liz Rosenberg, released in a statement that his client is undergoing a test at an L.A. hospital for a possible tumor. However, her announcement was later dismissed by the actor saying that he had no tumor or had undergone an operation. All he said is that he had a health complication that experts at the UCLA ICU needed to address, Daily Mail reports.

There are reports that say Kilmer's cancer has progressed over the months. Reports claim that his religious beliefs might have influenced his medical decision. Being a Christian scientist, he strongly believes in praying for healing than seeking medical help.
