'Lenovo Yoga 700' Release Date, Review, Specs, Price: A Hybrid Laptop More Affordable Than 'Yoga 900', Comes in 14 Inches and 11 Inches

"Lenovo Yoga 900" is arguably one of the best and probably one of the most expensive 2 in 1 laptops on the market. So if the Yoga 900 is too pricey for you, the comparable "Lenovo Yoga 700" is a good substitute. Its price has just been recently announced.

"Lenovo Yoga 700" starts at $799. It is a 14 inch device that offers more power than the Yoga 900. It is a convertible notebook that comes with Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and it comes with an optional Nvidia GeForce 940M graphics chip plus 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB SSD storage.

In general, the only down side of the "Lenovo Yoga 700" when comparing it to the Yoga 900, is that this 2 in 1 laptop is built in plastic instead of magnesium. Also, it uses traditional hinge instead of the expensive watch mechanism. But it does still offer a 360 degree articulation. "Lenovo Yoga 700" also come with a smaller 11 inch version and it is priced at around $876. The smaller version comes with Intel Core m5-6Y54 and a 1080p screen. It is also available in 8 GB RAM and 256 GB Samsung SSD. It is1.1 kg, has a thinness of 15.8 mm, and has a battery life of 8 hours.

As for the release date of the "Lenovo Yoga 700" and its miniature version, it was said that these two devices will be available on November.

As a conclusion, it seems like the "Lenovo Yoga 700" is a sweet deal. It is practically more affordable than the "Lenovo Yoga 900" and it has a good set of specs as well. Sure it is not as luxuriously made as the "Yoga 900," but it sure does come with its own impressive specifications as well. The big 14" size is a really good asset, and a smaller 11" option is a great alternative as well, at least for people who are not fans of big hybrid laptops.
