NBA Rumors: James Harden's Lack of Focus over Kardashian Issues Linked to Houston Rocket's Defeat; Dwight Howard Vowed to Play Hard and Take over

Though favored by most critics to take this season's NBA Title, the Houston Rockets led by James Harden fell short to meet their fans expectations during their game against Denver Nuggets. Despite the addition of TY Lawson on the James Harden squad, the Rockets still wasn't able to beat Lawson's former team, with an underwhelming final score of 105-85.

Aside from the absence of Dwight Howard during the game which really gave some major impact to the Rocket's performance, some critics were also quick to voice out their concern regarding Harden's focus. There were some speculations that the current relationship status of James Harden and Khloe Kardashian is affecting the main man of Houston Rockets.

It was pointed out that Harden could be short of focus especially that there were some news of "Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom calling off their divorce proceedings [surfaced] immediately after it was revealed that the NBA star is showing signs of recovery", as claimed by gospelherald. Though there are no confirmation about the rumors and their current status, Khloe Kardashian shared via gospelherald that;

"James [Harden] has been very supportive and awesome... He's been great with me. His [James Harden] season is starting. And I'm just allowing everything to unfold. If it's ever too overwhelming [for him], then I understand that as well."

Though there are some concerns on the focus of James Harden for his team, Dwight Howard then assured the responsibility of telling Rocket's fans that he and the team would play hard and progress as the season goes. In spite of his absence, Howard stated that;

"The main thing is as the season goes, I get better every month. You don't want to start too high. You don't want to start too low. You want to build up as the season goes. It's just one game. It's a marathon. Our job is not to be perfect in the first game. Our job is to sustain enough energy to go out there and play as hard as I can for as long as I can and progress as the season goes."

Well it is still too early to know real impact of rumors and side-court issues on each player's game and momentum. It is still the opening of the regular season, they still have much time to refocus and gear up for the many challenges and issues to come.
