Rapper Kanye West hasn't been very lucky in his attempts to sell his Hollywood Hills bachelor pad. The 'Yeezus' hitmaker is, however, giving it another go. The home had taken a short hiatus off the market but is back with a $2.9 million price tag, according to several reports.
Kanye and Kim are currently living in Kris Jenner's home in Calabasas, California,while their Bel-Air home is undergoing construction. The two were seen taking a look at their property recently.
"It's not close to being done, but it's coming along," a source told Us Weekly.
West had initially listed the Hollywood Hills home in 2010 for around $3.9 million. When it first hit the market, experts said the place would probably fetch around $2.5 million. However, West decided to take a chance and rake in a little profit on the home.
Failing to sell over a few months, the price was dropped and the place was re-listed for $3.3 million. On March 5, it was reported that West had finally snagged a buyer for his home. However, the home went in and out of escrow within a matter of weeks and returned to the open listing market with the same price tag.
Sometime earlier in September, the home was de-listed briefly. Records at Redfin still show that the home is not for sale. However, the folks at Redfin claim that the property is back on the market with the aforementioned asking price.
According to the public records, the home is a 4214 square feet residence, located at 7882 Fareholm Drive. West purchased it in 2003 for around $1.7 million. The three bedroom, four bathroom home features modern architecture and interiors.

Is it a private listing? Maybe.
Kanye is pretty private about the nitty-gritties of his personal life. Apparently, he told girlfriend Kim Kardashian to 'be selective' about what she is doing, reports WetPaint.com. But Kim is bored of not getting all the attention.
"Kim really likes the attention she gets from people when she goes out in public or even online, but since Kanye wants her to be more selective about what she's doing it isn't as interactive for her and she misses her old life. She wouldn't trade the baby for anything, of course, but she is saying she is bored right now," said a source to WetPaint.
Nevertheless, Kanye loves Kim. In an interview with BBC's Radio1 he said he loved Kim because she loved him for being himself and not for his money.
