Two things from the series promo were shown about Mr. Gold: first, it has been revealed that he may be able to overcome his greatest fear, and second, he will remain as a weakling like his old pre storybrooke days. That is what you have to find out in the fifth season of "Once Upon a Time" episode six.
Remembering from what episode five "Dream Catcher" has left off, Mr. Gold, played by Robert Carlyle, was able to continue the unsolicited training courtesy of Merida, played by Amy Manson. Merida was tasked by the Dark Swan or Emma, played by Jennifer Morrison, to make a creation of hero out of Mr. Gold, Realty Today reported.
In the above mentioned promo trailer of episode six, the life of Belle, played by Emilie de Ravin, was placed in danger by Emma hoping that the inner hero they have been looking for will be brought out by Mr. Gold. Merida, who has her heart on hold as well as under the spell of the Dark Swan, was commanded to kill Mr. Gold's one true love. Are we finally going to see Mr. Gold's courage to protect his one true love or is he going to lose her?
This will also be a chance of encounter with Merlin, who sneaks in Arthur's castle with the heroes to save Lancelot. They will also end up finding Merida there, and with Belle's help, Merlin will break them out using magic, ABC reported. Her new hope in the quest to save her brothers from the usurping clans of Dunbroch in a Camelot flashback was not forsaken.
The episode was entitled "The Bear and The Bow" which is for the November 15th episode. The creators originally planned for this to be a two-hour long episode.
Season Seven airs every Sunday 8:00 ET on ABC.
