Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Exclusivity with PS4 will Not be an Issue to Xbox; Black Ops 3 Signed a Timed Exclusivity with PlayStation Consoles, Rather Than on Xbox One

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's timed exclusivity deal with Sony won't be an issue to Xbox One users this holiday as commented by Xbox marketing executive Aaron Greenberg.

After the price cut of Sony's best-selling consoles, the PS4 is now available at the same price as Xbox One of Microsoft. As holiday season is fast approaching, the two consoles are matched for price as many consumers look to make a choice this Christmas.

Microsoft isn't worried about Black Ops 3's recent deal for timed exclusive content with Sony, which marked the end of a multi-layer partnership between Activision and Microsoft.

As reported by Game Rant, Greenberg isn't worried about the move and pointed out that the Xbox One will be home to seven big exclusive games this year, including Halo 5: Guardians; Rise of the Tomb Raider; and Forza Motorsport 6. He said that Xbox knows that it is a game that claims that the Xbox One has "the greatest games lineup in the history of the business."

The sales of Sony's console continue to soar, coming up to nearly 30 million total units sold. The PS4 has consistently outsold its Xbox counterpart, which hopes to convince many of its fans to upgrade.

Xbox hopes to persuade their fans to move up to the Xbox One by introducing backwards compatibility allowing players to run their old games on their current-gen consoles. Greenberg said he's confident that the Xbox One can retain its competitive status this holiday.

Tech Times reported that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is officially moving from Microsoft's Xbox One to Sony's PS4.

The move to Sony's system makes sense, seeing as the PS4 continues to make better sales than the Xbox One. PS4 users will get exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops 3content first, including exclusive map packs and the release of the multiplayer beta, before Xbox and PC gamers can.
