Unhappy parts of the future that people live in are images they see in the digital record of people that they don't want to see ever again.
Google has found a way around it, with the latest add-on to its Android Photos app. Users can now hide a particular person's images under the People tab. As the post in Google+ says it, that will keep the new organized images tool from seeing those people in the "rediscover this day" option as well.
Google images for Android made it easier for users who are looking for someone or avoiding his/her ex. The update has already rolled out in the United States. While the facial detection of Google has started in Australia, Latin America, New Zealand and the Caribbean as well as in the Middle East, and some parts of Asia and Africa.
In the 1.8 version tap of the App, the watch and search button are organized automatically and can identify faces from the entire image gallery. The significant other or best friend are grouped altogether, and photos are represented by thumbnail images, which can be named for faster access.
So, if users can't stand the faces of their enemies and ex or even their own goofy photos, but don't want to erase them, Google images now allows them to hide from re-appearing. Although the photos stay in the mobile and online collection, it won't surface when browsing in the gallery. Those are called banned images and stored in the "Rediscover this day" cards.
The app's version 1.8 guarantees "spooky speed" performance for fixing bugs and supports pinch to zoom search results. The updates can now be installed, and those who are using the Web and iOS version, the modifications will come soon!
So, you don't want to see your ex's face again but don't want to delete the photos?
