Durant recently purchased two brownstone homes in the Chesapeake Energy Arena for $1.7 million. Apparently, the two homes will be combined to create a larger home. The new abodes are just a few minutes away from Durant's restaurant, that is slated to open later in 2013, reports the Oklahoman.
Durant's Twitter spat with Dwyane Wade started when he said something about James Harden replacing Wade in Sports Illustrated Top 10 Point Forward list. Wade apparently took the comment personally and posted a handwritten note on his Instagram (which was linked to his twitter) that said Durant should respect his place, reports International Business Times.
Durant reportedly replied "Show me, don't tweet me."
Durant recently appeared on the NBC Sports Radio Show where he was asked about his twitter spat with Dwayne Wade.
"Honestly, I have totally forgotten about it. I forgot that I actually said it until I checked on Twitter. As expected, there were a lot of Miami Heat fans that tweeted me awful things. I was really not trying to disregard everything that D-Wade has done or contempt him in any other manner. He is truly a champion and his team too. In essence, what I was trying to say at that time was that D-Wade could pass the torch to other guys and I only said James Harden, to name one. This is only opinion. I respect D-Wade," Durant said in the interview.
