The season finale of 'Breaking Bad', the five-season drug drama thriller series might have come to a grand end, leaving fans reeling from the effect of Walter White's candid confessions and his death. For those of you who have been mourning the end of Breaking Bad, here is another reason to shed a few tears.
According to several news reports, the home that was Walter White's residence in the series will just not be sold, ever. Though realtors estimated the market value for the house to be somewhere between $150,000 and $200,000, the owners won't oblige! No Can't Do!
Fran and Louie Padilla, the owners claimed that no amount of money could convince them to sell their house in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The couple has been living there since 1973. They said that memories associated with the house cannot be traded with a price tag.
The property attracts several tourists a month and has already assumed an unofficial 'American Landmark' status (TV series can do that, especially when it just won an Emmy)
Though the home might look identical to it's on-screen appearance from the outside, the interiors are unrecognizable because all inside scenes were shot on a sound stage.
Fran added that the interior decor on the series looked HIDEOUS! TMZ reports.
Apart from the house, the couple's backyard has also been a regular feature in the crime series. The Padillas, however, said to the Daily Mail that they don't grow any poisonous lily there.
For all the saddened fans, BBC has compiled ways to cope with post-Breaking Bad-syndrome that includes exploring New Mexico and re-living scenes in Albuquerque. Fran and Louie do accept visitors (just in case).
