Cher’s Malibu House Haunted by the Ghost of Sonny Bono!

A lot of people don't 'believe' in paranormal stuff but singer/actress Cher definitely does!

TMZ is reporting that the Malibu mansion, which is sitting on the listing market with a $41 million price tag, is haunted by the ghost of Cher's ex-husband, Sonny Bono!

The folks at TMZ got the news from Cher herself. Apparently, when the singer was asked about her thoughts on ghosts at a recent 'Ask Me Anything' session on Reddit, she confessed to being a staunch believer in the afterlife!

"I actually think that Sonny makes a light go on (in the house)" Cher revealed, adding, "I have a beautiful chandelier that he makes the light go on when it is impossible, there is no power on," she said.

To confirm the confession, the folks at TMZ caught up with Cher at the Los Angeles International Airport where she said:

"Yeah! I think so!"

When they asked if Bono is messing with the lights, she said "No! he is not messing with them, he is just playing with them."  And, it's a totally 'Peaceful' thing. Bono is just pulling pranks.

Should we go 'awww' or 'brrrr'? We'd rather go 'woah'

The Malibu mansion is the same one which singer Beyonce and rapper hubby Jay Z were rumoured to have purchased. The house was featured in the August 2002 issue of Architectural digest. Interiors of the Malibu mansion speak of her elegant taste.

The year 2013 has been a very active real estate period for Cher. She just sold her Sierra Towers condo and her Venice home for $5.25 million and $1.95 million, respectively. She also purchased a Beverly Hills home for $2.1 million in July, which once belonged to "Modern Family" star Ed O'Neill. The latter sold the home for $1.7 million in 2007.

On the career front, Cher's new studio album, "Closer to the Truth," also arrived at No. 3 on Billboard 200. It sold 63,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This was her highest debut ever (solo or otherwise), according to Billboard.com.
