‘Nashville’ Season 4 Lands ‘Once Upon A Time’ Actress Jessy Schram

"Nashville" has a new face in its cast to portray "Cash Gray", a recurring role in the series. The part goes to "Once Upon A Time" actress Jessy Schram.

The country drama series from ABC "Nashville" will have added star-power with the entry of a new character for its fourth season. Prolific TV star Schram is set to join the show as Cash Gray who is a songwriter and singer seeking to be a star on her own. According to TV Line, Schram's character already co-wrote some songs with Kacey Musgraves which will pave the way for a recurrent appearance all throughout the series. Gray will also tackle some family issues of her own beginning with her estranged father Frankie who is a recovering alcoholic. He also happens to be Deacon's sponsor. Cash will have her moment with Rayna in future episodes and rumors abound that the two will surely clash.

Schram's character is scheduled to make her debut on the series on its 10th episode of the current season. Even before her appearance, rumors were already swirling about the timing of her role on the series. Episode 10 is supposedly the same time Juliette, who is played by Hayden Panattiere, is set to exit from the show. Panattiere is reportedly battling post-partum depression and will be seeking help and treatment. However, an insider says that the Cash character has long been part of the show's plans even before the emergency medical leave of Panattiere was announced.

In a report by Chicago Tribune, Schram is a Skokie native and a graduate of Buffalo Grove High School. She starred in "Falling Skies" and also appeared on NBC's crime show "Life." She also had a role in the military drama from ABC "Last Resort" and in "Harvest Moon" for Hallmark Channel that began airing this month.
