"The Librarians" Season 2 Episode 2 "And the Broken Staff" is directed by Marc Roskin and written by Alexa Alemanni & Joe Boothe & Holly Moyer.
Episode 2 "And the Broken Staff" will revolve around Prospero's connection with their case. They will try to retrieve the scattered parts of Prospero's staff inside a museum, but it will not be an easy task. At the museum, they will encounter two other famous literary characters including Frankenstein's monster and Moriarty, Sherlock Holmes's archenemy. On the other hand, Flynn (Noah Wyle) will have a disagreement with Baird (Rebecca Romijn) during the mission.
During the recently concluded New York Comic Con, Rebecca Romijn teased the fans with few juicy details ahead of the Season 2 premiere.
According to Examiner, Romijn said that her character will be torn between the former Guardian Flynn and heading her own team. She also added that Baird's role in the Library will be different from before. Baird previously trained her members and now, they are now Librarians as well.
"My character, because she was originally invited by the Library to be Guardian to Flynn, is a little bit torn between running off with him and sticking with the Librarians-in-training, who have really become my family. For me, there's a little bit of tension there," Romijn said.
The former "X-Men" actress updated the fans about Baird and Flynn. She also said that their apparent difference will bring problems to their romantic relationship. She also shared that Flynn will have a problem with the Librarians' new status.
Romijn added, "So while she misses her Librarians-in-training and wants to come back to see them, he's less interested in doing so. "He's still on the fence about willing to accept them as full-on Librarians."
"The Librarians" airs every Sunday on TNT.
