Things are getting tougher for Scott Disick especially now that his counselors advised him to stay celibate for a year. According to Hollywood Life, as part of Scott's treatment, he needs to "have a year of sobriety" and that includes free from substances and sex.
Disick needs to stay away from sex for year before he can start dating again. An insider told Hollywood Life exclusively that "Scott is committed to it."
On top of that, the counselors also recommend that Scott and Kourtney Kardashian should keep distance for the mean time. That is said to be the reason why Kourtney is not yet seen visiting Scott in the rehab.
The source said that, "Kourtney didn't go to the rehab with the kids because there's just so much baggage between them that still needs to be worked out. The source further explained that Kourtney is not doing this to punish Scott but it was "on the recommendation of the counselors at the rehab center."
According to the source, Scott is still in a fragile state and he needs to be in a positive environment and dealing all the issues that he have with Kourtney "is too much for him right now."
"He needs to be more solid in his recovery before that happens, but it will happen," said the source.
According to Life and Style, the past months have been difficult to Scott after he was spotted getting cozy with ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli in July which prompted Kourtney to put an end in their relationship.
Scott wants Kourtney to be part of his recovery, however, Kourtney already decided to keep her distance from him. A source said that, "A lot of forgiveness needs to happen" for the both Scott and Kourtney.
"Scott is very remorseful for what he's put her through, but it's not as though Kourtney can just forget everything that's gone on."
