The multiplayer map “Nuketown” from past “Call of Duty” games is coming to “Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3” in an updated version.
According to Cinema Blend, the new “Nuketown” map will be called "NUK3TOWN" and it will be a “model suburb” similar to its previous versions only that it will have more futuristic look. The placement of humanoid dummies will try to confuse players as they go around the fake town. The town will look like a virtual environment where there will be visible pixels floating over some buildings.
“Nuketown” was first introduced in the first Black Ops Game. It was made to look like a model suburb that has survived a nuclear blast. Black Ops 2 has “Nuketown 2025” that has a retro-futuristic look which features "Nuketown Zombies," a co-op map with undead soldiers.
As described in the “Call of Duty” website, “This fan favorite map from Black Ops has returned in a big way for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It has been re-designed from the ground up to highlight Treyarch’s new momentum-based, chained-movement system, allowing players to battle in this adrenaline-charged new NUK3TOWN map. Set in the year 2065, players will experience a fresh take on this classic run-and-gun, close-quarters multiplayer map."
For a glimpse of the bonus map, fans can view the two-minute trailer.
Unfortunately, the “NUK3TOWN DLC Bonus Map” will not be available for Xbox 360 or PS3. This bonus map will only be available for a limited time for selected retailers.
As part of map decorations a virtual scoreboard has been included to show how a player’s team is doing. A shuffleboard for hilarious killshots has also been added.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” will be out on Nov. 6. “Nuk3town” bonus map will be available for free for those who pre-order the game for PS4, Xbox One or PC.
