For Taylor Swift, Halloween was another working night. While other celebrities partied and flaunted their Halloween costumes, the singer was at the Raymond James Stadium at Tampa, Florida, for her "1989" U.S. Tour.
But this did not stop Swift from having fun and getting into the Halloween groove. The "Bad Blood" singer decided to turn her entire concert into one big Halloween party, MTV reported.
"It's Halloween," Swift reportedly told the audience. "So you never know what might happen."
She then came out dressed as Olaf, the adorable, fun-loving snowman from Disney's "Frozen." Her back-up dancers went with the theme, wearing reindeer suits. She then performed her hit single "Style" as Olaf, much to her fans' excitement.
After the song, Swift reportedly played coy with her fans. "I don't know if you noticed but we have a 'Frozen' theme going on here," Swift said. "If only Idina Menzel were here."
On cue, the Broadway actress came on stage, wearing the iconic glittery blue Elsa gown. Swift and Menzel belted out the hit song "Let It Go," with fans wildly screaming and singing along.
After the show, the popstar shared her gratefulness over her fans' response. "Frozen totally happened tonight," she wrote. About "55,000 people sang 'Let it Go' so loudly, it nearly took my breath away." Likewise, Menzel also took to social media to thank Swift for inviting her to perform.
Aside from Menzel, 19-year-old newcomer Alessia Cara also performed her hit song "Here." Surprise guests have been a signature Taylor Swift concert highlight, as she has previously brought out famous friends on stage, including Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez.
According to Tampa Bay Times, last Saturday night's performance was the last stop of the U.S. leg of Swift's "1989 World Tour." She closed the show by saying, "This has been not only the most exciting time of my career. it's been the most exciting time of my life."
Swift resumes touring next week, with stops at Singapore, China and Australia.
