A beta test has revealed that Yoga Master Dhalsim is one of the three new characters added to "Street Fighter V" game's growing roster.
"Street Fighter V" is the latest and upcoming fighting game from Capcom that is coming to PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows.
Following the recently ended PC beta test, data-miners have found out that there is a total of 17 characters, instead of the rumored 16, in "Street Fighter V" according to Game Rant. As of now, Capcom has only officially revealed 14 characters. But the leak suggests that Dhalsim is one of the three and the other two are rumored to be final bosses for the fighting game.
Capcom remains tightlipped on the rumored additional three characters but the leak also suggests that the two mysterious additions are new characters or at least previously unknown. Being speculated as ultimate bosses, it is too early to suppose that the two will be added to the roster of playable characters. Moreover, they are being developed under the codenames "FAN" and "TUT." The reason why "FAN" and "TUT" are being rumored as bosses is because of their complex designs. There are also talks suggesting that they will be playable.
In the meantime, the currently confirmed roster of characters include Chun-Li, Ryu, Charlie Nash, M. Cammy, Bison, Birdie, Necalli, Ken, Vega, Rashid, Rainbow Mika, Karin, Laura, and Zangief, according to GameSpot.
But for those who have been following the game since the inception of "Street Fighter" it is not the growing roster of "Street Fighter V" that is really a big deal. According Game Rant, many are concerned that "Street Fighter" mainstays like Akuma, Guile, E. Honda, Blanka, Balrog (Boxer) and Sagat are still missing. Capcom has recently stated that they're prioritizing free post-launch character DLC.
"Street Fighter V" will be released sometime in 2016.
