'One Life To Live' Star Nathaniel Marston In Critical Condition After Car Accident; May Be Paralyzed Neck Down, Says Doctor

"One Life to Live" fan favorite Nathaniel Marston was involved in a tragic vehicular accident last Friday night, Oct. 30.

According to Soap Opera Spy, Marston's mother, Elizabeth posted a heartbreaking message on her Facebook wall, asking for prayers for his son Nathaniel.

Elizabeth wrote on Facebook, "Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston.. He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support. Back and neck broken in several places. Other internal injuries."

She continued, "Please pray that he will recover and walk again. Nathaniel is now on a breathing machine to keep him alive and he may face life with tremendous paralysis if he survives this tragedy."

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Nathaniel's mother is reportedly preparing for the worst given that his doctors are not that hopeful that he can completely recover. With that being said, Elizabeth is strongly urging Marston's fans to help pray for his son's full recovery. She also asked the fans to ignore other media rumors claiming that he was "not sober" when the accident happened.

Soap Shows shared that Nathaniel's mother continue to update his son's condition through her Facebook page. After she talked to the authorities, she posted an update on her page saying, "Just spoke to highway patrol and tribal police. In case rumor mill gets going. Nate was sober according to cops. Waiting to speak to Dr. Please pray that Nate does not end up a paraplegic..neck broken and fractured neck vertebra 3,4,5,6, and 7. Shoulder broken along with all ribs. Collapsed lung and pnenoma. Please please pray for him."

Marston is well known for playing the role of Dr. Michael McBain from 2004 to 2007 on the said ABC Soap. His character was very well loved by fans. That is why when he was released from "One Life to Live" contract in 2003, a lot of fans wrote to the network asking him back that is why they reinstated him.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth's latest update reads, "Spoke to Nates Dr. In all likely hood if he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine. Oh my God please give me strength."
