Software giant Microsoft Xbox team has finally unveiled a new Xbox One Elite controller for the popular racing video game, "Forza Motorsport 6." The new controller features a "liquid blue" design, similar to the design of the car, and it was said that the triggers actually look like gas and break pedals, a report from Gamespot stated on Monday.
"To celebrate the return of the GT, the Forza folks ginned up a special version of the Xbox One's Elite controller that's a bit more than a stripe-and-color job. The Liquid Blue controller features real carbon-fiber accents and a clear battery door in an homage to the GT's engine-revealing rear window. The trigger buttons, which act as the player's gas and brake in Forza, are refashioned to resemble the GT's pedals, while the left thumbstick references the shape of the supercar's steering wheel," Car and Driver said.

- Left thumbstick shape inspired by the GT steering wheel and angled towards the player for a more ergonomic experience. A horizontal movement limiter also ensures efficiency and accuracy in steering.
- Custom paddles inspired by the steering column paddles shifters on the GT. Program them on your Xbox One to shift up, down and even to engage the clutch.
- See through battery door and custom battery pack inspired by the engine compartment and EcoBoost V6 engine.
- Cutaway brake and accelerator triggers reveal the impulse motors that give Forza Motorsport 6 its realistic feel."
"The similarities between the all-new Ford GT and the controller it influenced are not limited to just the beautiful Liquid Blue finish. On the subtle side this concept features carbon fiber in parts of the case to add strength and lightness. Also, the Ford GT steering wheel provided direction on the shape and ergonomic positioning of the invaluable left thumbstick as well as paddles for shifting that mimic the design of the Ford GTs," Ford said.
