‘Fallout 4’ PS4 Gameplay & Update: Leaked Screenshots Reveal Pip-Boy, Weapons & More

A massive collection of screenshots of what appears to be the popular "Fallout 4" PS4 edition have been leaked online. The screenshots were first spotted on Reddit website and they reveal the various characters, weapons, Pip-Boy, and unkillable dog in the game, among others, a report from Gamespot said on Monday.

"These screenshots were apparently leaked by a user who had access to an early copy of the game. Sadly, these screenshots were compressed and as a result, the quality wasn't that good and it only added to the low quality graphics," Gear Nuke reported.

"NeoGAF user shinobi602 has managed to get his hands on some uncompressed screenshots from the retail version of the game. These screenshots appear to be taken from the PS4 version of the game, and while the graphics appear to be the same, they do look much better than the earlier leaked screenshots," the report said.

However, according to Gamespot, a ranking official from Bethesda, declined to issue an official statement regarding the leaked "Fallout 4" materials. It was said that the game will be running at 1080p/30fps both for PS4 and Xbox One. The game's PC version, according to Bethesda, will have better graphics compared with the console versions.

"Fallout 4" game director Todd Howard claims that "graphics matter." However, it was stressed that the title is "unlikely to be the best-looking game out there."

"While Fallout 4 is a current generation and PC release, it won't be surprising to assume that it was once considered for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Fallout 4 is also being developed on the same engine that has been used for the past few games of Bethesda Softworks including Skyrim. Since it is an old engine, it is starting to show its age and we can see this first hand in Fallout 4," Gear Nuke noted.

"Fallout 4" is Bethesda's upcoming open-world action role-playing video game. It is slated to be released on Nov. 10.
