Fans of "The Flash" Season 2 are surprisingly rooting for Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) to end up together on the hit The CW series.
According to MTV News, there are at least four reasons why Caitlin and the new character Jay should end up together.
First, both of them suffered great losses throughout their lives. In the premiere episode for Season 2, fans learned that Caitlin's husband Ronnie passed away. Although no one close to Jay died, the character is also struggling with the loss of his speedster superpowers, according to Fashion N Style.
Additionally, both Caitlin and Jay share the same interests. Before becoming a speedster, Jay first worked as a physicist. Caitlin, on the other hand, works as a brilliant scientist and doctor.
Meanwhile, Caitlin and Jay also deserve to be happy once and for all. Although they are not always featured as emotional characters, fans of "The Flash" know what could really be going on in their heads. Before becoming a speedster herself, fans want to see Caitlin find love again as a normal human being.
Lastly, Caitlin and Jay are good for each other. For instance, nobody believed in Jay very early on in the season. However, Caitlin has always had his back.

Meanwhile, during the show's most recent episode, Jay commented on being good enough as a speedster and as a former scientist. However, Caitlin reminded him he is still a hero even without his superpowers.
"The scene is an excellent way of showing that Caitlin is able to inspire Jay and could be a sign that they will start dating in the future," the publication noted.
