Leonardo DiCaprio, the "Titanic" star has been on the prowl for a suitable new home for months now. According to the latest real estate grapevine buzz, DiCaprio was last spotted looking at media mogul Rupert Murdoch's Beverly Hills mansion and more recently an ultra-luxury triplex penthouse in the Tribeca area, which is set to make a cameo in the popular reality show "Million Dollar Listing of New York (MDLNY)".
Leo was seen scouting the Beverly Hills property, which sits on the market with a $35 million price tag. No word on what Leo offered to Murdoch but the property is one hell of a luxury pad. Sitting on a prime area of 4.4 acres, the residence has a large circular motor court that gives access to the large rooms of the residence, reports The Real Estalker.
The other property in question here is a soon-to-be TV celebrity. The 7061-square-foot triplex penthouse on Tribeca's 11 North Moore Street is listed for $40 million and will soon make a cameo on the popular property real estate show MDLNY, reports The New York Post.
The apartment was graced by the 'Shutter island' star recently. He also visited the Sterling Mason condo building in Tribeca, reports The Real Deal. He is now shacked up in Battery Park, New York City, where he owns a penthouse.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio's Malibu home returned to the 'for-sale' market with a $4 million price chopper in August. The home is now listed for $18.9 million.
The property has three units all encompassed in a 17,679 square feet lot. The estate comprises of a four bedroom main unit, a detached two bedroom guest house and a one bedroom office space. The place has six full bathrooms and one half bathroom. The home has mixed flooring with wooden doors and large glass windows.
