Fans of "Criminal Minds" season 11 are not just excited about the storyline and the evil criminals the BAU are going up against. This is also the projected schedule of AJ Cook's return who everyone knows play "Agent Jennifer Jareau" or "JJ."
AJ Cook is set to return from maternity leave this season of "Criminal Minds" and although it has been long expected, fans and critics alike are waiting to see just how "JJ" is going to blend in once again with her team. According to CarterMatt.com, the big day is going to be set on Nov. 11 in an episode called "Target Rich." This episode will not just be about the return of one of their own for the BAU but will also be an important one for Rossi. Actress Amber Stevens West will reprise her role as Rossi's daughter. The BAU will also deal with the Dirty Dozen plot which kicked off the season.
Rossi's daughter "Joy," a journalist, will be involved in an investigation of a college student who goes missing. Rossi, the father, will be concerned about her daughter's safety but he will have his hands full along with the rest of the BAU as Giuseppe Montolo warns Morgan about the elusive group of assassins called the Dirty Dozen." The team will not be able to take the warning lightly as Montolo dies soon after telling them.
In a post by The Hollywood Reporter, Erica Messer, "Criminal Minds" showrunner talks about Cook and her temporary leave of absence from the show. She said the actress will be shown in the first episode in a scene with her baby but she will be gone for the first six episodes. Messer also talks about the stint of Aisha Tyler as the stand-in for "JJ." She adds that Tyler's deal is for six episodes but she hopes to make her character stay for a few more.
