"19 Kids and Counting" star Jessa Duggar Seewald is approaching her due date, but she doesn't feel any signs of labor yet even when she was supposed to be due on Sunday.
Since the star doesn't have any labor indications yet, fans are going to social media to get updates of her pregnancy. The star posted a photo on Instagram showing her baby bump with the label "39 weeks and 4 days."
While waiting for her due date, Seewald is posting updates on social media so her fans will be aware of her progress. Fans turn to the internet to track Jessa and her sister Jill since their show,"19 Kids and Counting" got cancelled earlier this year. It is rumored that the sisters will have a show of their own but apparently, it will take time before it will begin.
As for Jessa's baby, it is said that it runs in the family to have a delayed labor. Her older sister Jill also waited a long time before her son came to into the world in April. Jill even said that she was “planning on the baby coming late, no big deal — if you have it in your head that way, you won’t get discouraged.”
“When everyone else is asking you, ‘When are you going to have that baby?’ The baby will come when the baby comes. I have told myself, ‘First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so didn’t get discouraged,'” Jill said according to People. She added that she was mentally prepared for her late delivery which came two weeks later.
Recently, Jill just fled to Central America with husband Derick Dillard for their missionary work, leaving pregnant Jessa behind. But magazine Life & Style revealed that the 22-year-old mom-to-be is distraught because Jill abandoned her, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
It was also rumored that Jessa felt deserted that Jill isn't around when she needed her most. Jessa also planned a home birth and since Jill is already a certified midwife, she would be of great help to her.
But Jessa trashed the rumors while holding a copy of the magazine and posted it on Instagram with the caption, "Cracking up over this one! Ben and I were surprised to find out that #BabySeewald was already born last week! I must say, it was certainly a relief for me to find out that all that labor and delivery work is already behind me. Oh, and A+ on the cover picture. I never imagined I'd get my pre-baby body back so soon! Haha! We both had a good laugh over this! #UnreliableSources Lol!"
