Drew Barrymore 'The 50 First Dates' actress is the latest celebrity to get caught in the real estate rumor rant. Several news reports speculate that the actress and her husband, Will Kopelman have gone under contract to buy a plush duplex apartment at 830 Park Avenue, New York City, which was listed for $8.3 million.
Apparently, a tipster with knowledge about the building dropped the news nugget to the folks at Curbed. The source said that Barrymore had toured several apartments in the building and settled for the four bed- four bath luxury condo.
Listing records also show that the residence is under contract. The home has had a volatile history going on and off the market frequently for a couple of times. It was last listed for $8.3 million in May 2013.
According to the listing at Streeteasy, the home had recently undergone a renovation and now boasts of a total of nine rooms. Living spaces include a grand living room and a separate sitting room on the upper floor. A eat-in kitchen, four spacious bedrooms and four full and one half bathroom are its other features.
The listing describes the home as:
Located in one of Park Avenue's finest co-ops, this four bedroom duplex apartment has recently undergone a renovation and is in triple mint condition. This grand apartment features unusually large windows and a loft-like design, central air conditioning, an in-the-wall music system, beautifully refinished parquet floors, and three fireplaces. On the lower floor, there is a grand living room with high ceilings, large windows and two seating areas, each with its own fireplace, a large, windowed, eat-in kitchen, one bedroom with a full bathroom, and a laundry room. On the upper floor, the spacious master bedroom suite encompasses a separate sitting room and spa bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms and a bathroom on this floor. This unique apartment is truly one of a kind and not to be missed. Co-exclusive.

Meanwhile, Barrymore's wedding home is on the market. First listed in May, the residence recently got a pricechop and is currently asking $6.9 million.
Earlier in October, Barrymore and Kopelman were recently spotted in New York City with daughter Olive who recently turned one. While they had a lot of fun, looks like they also managed to do some home hunting.
Talking of buying, selling and owning houses, apparently, Barrymore is quite chilled out when it comes to entertaining guests at home. In an interview with Vulture, she reveals how she is completely a laid back homeowner.
An excerpt from the interview:
Now in your current house, do you have any house rules that you enforce when you have guests over, like, "No shoes in the house," "No red wine"?
Oh no. God no. Put your feet up anywhere, drink anywhere, I don't really have coasters ... you can use a book. I want people to be comfortable.
Well! That large eat-in kitchen will definitely come in handy here!
