"Downton Abbey," the most successful period drama in British television, which premiered in 2010, according to Mirror UK, is close to conclusion as it aired its Season 6, episode 7 on Sunday, with fast cars and Carson still treating Thomas like a trash by repeatedly saying, "I wish you would just leave."
Since the series only has 10 episodes per season, there are only two episodes left before the Christmas finale and it seems there isn't time to condense everything in the British TV series.
In a recap done by Viv Groskop from The Guardian, there was indeed excitement in the blazing car and the turn of events in Mrs. Patmore's B&B and most of all, a proposal for Lady Edith! The last one was indeed unexpected. Even fans know that Edith deserves to be happy as much as everyone else in the series. Then there's Henry in the car, then he was not. Mr. Bates stopped Anna not to rush to the fast-approaching car, considering her condition. To sum up, it was heart stopping and heart wrenching at the same time.
Speaking of other characters, Digital Spy compiled the reaction of fans about Thomas Barrow, most of them heartbreaking and feeling for the lad.
One fan named Charlotte Gordon (@CharGordon) said, "Thomas is actually breaking my heart right now. I just want to wrap him up in the biggest hug. #DowntonAbbey." Another one twitted, Molly Burns, with a handle @TheMollyBurns, "If Thomas doesn't get something good in his life I will be forced to climb into the TV and I'll start punching people for him #DowntonAbbey."
Onto the next episode, which is to be aired next Sunday, Nov. 8, will have Edith calling Mary a b- - -h and Henry calling her gold digger!
Fans cannot wait to see the finale of the series, which is, according to The Telegraph, is one of the closely guarded secrets in television.
