‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ News and Updates: Sneek Peak for New ‘Wayne Manor’ for Upcoming ‘Batman' Movie

With the 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' showing in the first half of 2016, fans are crazy about the manor of the rich Bruce Wayne. According to some rumors, the franchise was shot in Detroit, with the Motor City portraying as Gotham City. What is more interesting, somehow, is Wayne's Manor.

The famous Wayne Manor for the said movie is actually a 'run-down' mansion known as Ransom Gillis house, according to Realtor.

It was a netizen named 'Tony Detroit' who told Batman News fansite that the producers were secretly shooting in and around crumbling Gothic mansion, located at 205 Alfred Street. Moreover, one crew member of the movie confirmed that the mansion is indeed used in the film as Wayne's Manor.

However, as we all expected, the rumors hasn't yet been confirmed by Warner Brothers. But, it has already ignited an outbreak of comments online about the worthiness of the home to be Wayne Manor.

"While it's not as big as other mansions we've seen Bruce Wayne live in on-screen, they could certainly add to it with CGI in post-production," admitted Batman News' Chris Begley.

With an almost worn-out mansion like the Ransom Gillis house, the creative people of the movie will have to do a lot of work. The mansion was built in 1876 and had been abandoned since the 1960s.

Although the mansion has already a piece of history attached to it, no one was allowed to take photos of the interiors. According to Realtor.com, visitors said that "it's an astute mix of old and new: antique chandeliers against stark-white walls and exposed brick, stained-glass windows amid stainless-steel kitchens."

It is also reported that this home will be soon slated and split into duplexes, and will be rented out.

Who is excited to see the Bruce Wayne Manor in the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016?
